SMART, FIT & HEALTHY KIDS After School Program for children in grades K-8. This is an exciting new program focused on the Mind & Body of the child. Founded in 2010, we offer the highest quality after-school program/camps in West Sacramento. We at The Bounce Spot believe that school aged children are at their most important time in their learning and physical development stages. Our fitness and educational curriculum is designed to help children reach their fullest potential. The Bounce Spot features fun, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities, which help develop the whole child physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Our focus on the body helps children understand the importance of healthy living through the combination of healthy eating and consistent physical activity. We offer each student a healthy snack consistent with the daily requirements needed for a healthy diet and the ability to exercise through a variety of activities that include: indoor soccer, indoor basketball, indoor hockey, Wii Fit, Zumba, and more. Plus, don't forget about our room full of exciting bouncers. We have designated three rooms specifically for homework assistance, allowing your child to have as much time as needed to complete all of their homework. Staff will supervise and assist students with homework, being joined by high school student volunteers providing tutoring in specific subjects. Arts & Crafts and educational games will be provided for children to continue learning. Here at the Bounce Spot, laughter and play are cherished, and learning is enjoyable for every child.
